Mission
To preserve and advance wood painting as an accessible craft—slow, safe, and sustainable—so more people can repair, refinish, and celebrate wooden objects that matter.
SolidPoint Atelier began as a single workbench and a shelf of sample boards. We believed that careful coats, patient drying, and well-chosen pigments turn ordinary timber into furniture with voice and memory.
We teach wood painting as a conversation with grain: preparation that respects the substrate, brushwork that follows the lines of growth, and finishes that protect without plastic sheen. Our lessons are filmed like a maker’s journal—materials, method, and honest notes.

Repeatable steps, a personal record of blends and brushes, and confidence to restore furniture or create new pieces with warmth and durability.
Maya restores casework and painted chairs from the 1920s–50s. Her classes emphasize brush control, cutting-in, and the patient rhythm of coats and cures.
Jonah focuses on milk paint, shellac, and wax. He brings lab-grade curiosity to everyday shop conditions, explaining why certain blends behave as they do.
Sana helps learners see undertones and plan finishes that respect surrounding materials. Expect practical swatch-making and daylight checks.
Elliot builds the learner experience: journals, checklists, and supportive notes that make each session feel grounded and encouraging.
We share what we know without hype: no fake urgency, no miracle claims—just careful craft. We document errors and fixes in our lessons because that’s how real shops run.
